Arolos are shy, thoughtful little friends with dreamy expressions and a fondness for a night in with a good book!

Arolos have string jointed shoulders and hips, allowing their short limbs to pivot. They also have a wire from the head to the tail, allowing limited posing. They stand roughly 3” tall and are around 9” long. This one of a kind art doll is created entirely from hand dyed wool, including UV reactive fibers for a cool blacklight effect!

This is a one of a kind mixed media art doll, created with a needle felted wool body, cast resin head, and mixed media accents. Needle felting is a technique that uses a special barbed needle to pack loose wool fibers together to create free-form, sculptural works. The surface is soft, but the body itself is much firmer than a plush doll. Many hours of work and lots of love go into each of my creatures.

All work is completed in a smoke-free home using natural fibers.
