This Flox stands just over 7 inches tall and measures 10 inches from face to tail-tip. This gorgeous gold and purple design features hand-blended gradients. The face is slightly translucent, with pearl powder mixed into the resin.

This is a one of a kind mixed media art doll, created with a cast resin face and a needle felted wool body. The ears are cut from 100% wool felt and attached firmly with felting techniques.

Needle felting is a technique that uses a special barbed needle to pack loose wool fibers together to creature free-form, sculptural works. The surface is soft, but the body itself is much firmer than a plush doll. Many hours of work and lots of love go into each of my creatures!

The body has a wire armature inside, which makes it both durable and poseable. With four cute little paws on the floor the balance is wonderful. The face is hand painted, and the coat is created entirely from colored wool. No patterns are used for the body--that means no two Flox will ever be quite the same.

Each Flox comes with a signed certificate of authenticity from the artist. All work is completed in a smoke-free home using natural fibers.
