It’s a dog! It’s a fish! It’s way cuter than either - it’s a koi dog!

This Koi Dog sits roughly 8.5” tall. The coat pattern, a cream base with a blue and green patch design, is made up of several hand-dyed wool fibers.

Koi Dogs do not have a wire armature and are not poseable except for a single wire in the tail. Instead, they're built solid and adorably stocky out of 100% wool with stone beads for eyes. Each Koi Dog comes with a removable leather collar with a working buckle and a one of a kind laser cut tag showing their ID number!

This is a one of a kind mixed media art doll, created with a needle felted wool body and mixed media accents. Needle felting is a technique that uses a special barbed needle to pack loose wool fibers together to create free-form, sculptural works. The surface is soft, but the body itself is much firmer than a plush doll. Many hours of work and lots of love go into each of my creatures.

The pose of this Koi Dog cannot be altered, but small adjustments to the tail are possible. This one of a kind art doll is created entirely from colored wool.

All work is completed in a smoke-free home using natural fibers.
